Vaporesso GEN S Ultra 220W Kit w/ NRG-S Tank

The Vaporesso GEN S Ultra (formerly GEN X) kit is a new version of the best-selling GEN kit, with a premium finish made from aircraft-grade aluminium with millimetre-perfect CNC machining.

This is a simple, powerful, elegant device paired with a superb sub-ohm tank - no frills but all the features you need in a small, ergonomic kit which packs plenty of power.

Vaporesso's aim with the GEN series was "to make high-powered devices more accessible to people than ever before", and we think they've succeeded in their goal. Weighing just 107 grams with no batteries installed, the GEN S Ultra has a sleek design and outputs up to 220 watts of power. It has a 0.91" OLED screen to tell you all the details you need to know, and buttons for firing, adjusting wattage up and down, and adjusting mode. That's it, and that's all you need.

The same AXON chip featured in the original GEN returns here, and it has a 0.02 second firing time, which means that it will fire multiple times per puff and retain the power and wattage throughout. For a standard three-second puff, that's 150 fires. Vaporesso say this leads to increased flavour in each puff.

The device itself stands 145mm with the NRG-S tank attached, is 27.6mm wide and 49.4mm deep. Wattage is from 5 to 220 watts, and it will fire coils anywhere from 5 ohms all the way down to a ridiculous 0.03 ohms (uh, be careful). It runs on two 18650 batteries (sold separately).

Along with the brand new materials and finish, the biggest change to the GEN S Ultra from the original is its pairing with the NRG-S tank. This tank holds a massive 8ml of e-liquid, which will keep you vaping all day long. Utilising the NRG GT coils which have proven so popular, previously featured with kits such as the SWAG series. The coils included are the pre-installed GT4 Meshed 0.15 ohm which vapes best between 50 and 75 watts, and the spare GT Mesh 0.18 ohm which vapes best between 50 and 85 watts.
