The Uwell Caliburn G is an updated version of the best-selling Caliburn pod system. Featuring higher wattage and larger battery capacity among its upgrades, the Caliburn G is just as spectacular as its predecessor.
The Caliburn G comes in a range of different colours and is finished with easy-to-hold ribbed aluminium alloy, but retains the same shape and size as the original. Likewise, it retains the capability to vape either by pressing and holding down the fire button, or by simply inhaling while the device is active.
The battery is increased from 520mAh to 690mAh, a 33% increase. Wattage is increased from 11 watts to 15 watts, still allowing users to vape with the restricted mouth-to-lung inhale they prefer but also providing just a little bit more of a hit.
The biggest upgrade is in the pod, however. Instead of replacing the pod completely each time, coils are now removable with the Caliburn G which means you can keep the same pod and just replace the coil. Keep multiple pods going at the same time now if you enjoy running different flavours - it's simple! Packs of coils are available separately.
You can also now switch the way the pod is facing to change the airflow. The two settings are either very restricted, similar to the original Caliburn, or restricted mouth-to-lung, which is new to the Caliburn G. Pods for the Caliburn G aren't backwards compatible, so these upgrades can only be obtained by purchasing the Caliburn G kit.
Charging on the device has switched from Micro USB to super-fast USB-C.
These are welcome upgrades to what has been a spectacular success for Uwell, and rightly so. The Caliburn is the most popular pod kit on the market, due to its simplicity and elegance. It retains these features in the Caliburn G, but gives you several improvements.
