The Uwell Caliburn AK2 is the square, compact version of the Caliburn A2. It's in keeping with the design of previous Caliburn KOKO kits.

The AK2 has all of the great features of the Caliburn A2 - it utilises the same excellent pods, which sit in between the original Caliburn and the Caliburn G kits in terms of power. Outputting 15 watts of power, it strikes the delicate balance of restricted mouth-to-lung and comfortable, airy draw to provide the best inhale yet from a Caliburn device.

The Caliburn AK2 comes in a range of vibrant colours and patterns, from the sleek greys and blacks to the proud blues and oranges. It retains the same square shape and size as the original Caliburn KOKO and KOKO Prime kits, but features nice rounded edges and a machined aluminium alloy body for comfort in the hand.

 

 

Likewise, it retains the capability to vape either by pressing and holding down the fire button, or by simply inhaling while the device is active.

The device sports a large 520mAh battery, and charging is done via upgraded USB-C technology. This leads to a faster charge while adding some stability to the device as the USB-C outlet is sturdier and longer lasting than Micro USB outlets.

One of the best new features of the AK2 is the built-in juice window, which allows users to see exactly how much e-liquid remains in their pod while it's in use. This leads to less dry hits and unfortunate surprises, which in turn extend the life of the pod.

These are welcome upgrades to what has been a spectacular success for Uwell, and rightly so. The original Caliburn is the most popular pod kit on the market, due to its simplicity and elegance, and the Caliburn A2 is an upgrade that enhances these features. The AK2 retains all of these great assets in a new shape and elegant design, but gives you several improvements.
