Joyetech has followed up from their popular 60W eVic-VT box mod with a Mini version capable of an even-higher 75 watts!
Temperature Control works for Nickel (Ni200), Titanium (Ti1) and Stainless Steel (SS) coils from 100-315 degrees Celsius and 200-600 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperature is adjusted in 10 degree increments when using Fahrenheit, or 5 degree increments when using Celsius.
The variable wattage can be adjusted from 1.5-75 watts in 0.1 watt increments.
There is also a Bypass mode so that the device can work in the same way as a mechanical mod. When using the eVic-VTC Mini in Bypass mode it will set the wattage for the vape dependant upon the battery voltage and atomiser resistance. Bypass mode will operate with coils between 0.1 to 3.5 ohms.
The eVic-VTC Mini can take sub-ohm and standard tanks alike. It accommodates coils from 0.05 to 1.0 ohms in Temperature mode with Ni200, Ti1 or SS coils, or coils from 0.1 to 3.5 ohms in Wattage mode.
The eVic-VTC Mini is powered by one single 18650 battery (not included), and comes with on-board charging via the included Micro USB cable.
There is also a stealth mode, wherein you can turn off the screen so that it does not display any information, therefore preserving some extra battery life.
The OLED display provides all the information you need, including the mode the device is currently operating in, the wattage, temperature, voltage, amps used, remaining battery life, and coil resistance. It also displays both a puff counter (number of puffs taken on current charge) and puff timer (total number of seconds vaped on current charge).
The eVic-VTC Mini comes with reverse polarity protection, output short protect, low resistance protection, battery low voltage protection and temperature overheat protection. When you hook up the device to charge, battery low voltage protection will be unlocked to allow you to vape as a passthrough device.
Note: These devices are firmware upgradeable. The current operating system is V2.0, and your device must be updated to this firmware to achieve all of the features listed. Update your firmware here.
